Our Aktivhotel is a family-run concern. For many years it has been in the hands of the Theiner Family. As you will be able to tell easily from the compound name, it consists of two establishments. One is the time-honoured “Mohren”, right in the main square of Burgeis, connected adjacently in green fields along a private road (approx. 60 m) to the second, the “Plavina”.
Both hotels exude the style and ambience of when they were built, but both offer you the spaciousness of a luxury hotel with a subtle artistic atmosphere and the tradition of an old inn.

Choose for yourself which you would like to live in; our wellness area with its indoor swimming pool can be easily reached from your room in either building. We also have sauna, solarium, fitness and massage rooms for deep relaxation and tingly leisure-time pleasure. For not only tradition, art and romance are a priority in our luxury hotel, but also relaxation, wellness and hospitality.

Our Aktivhotel is surrounded by our garden, sunbathing lawn and our own car park. All this nestles in the natural landscape of Upper Vinschgau with its mountains of the South Tyrol Ortler massif and the Stilfserjoch National Park. There are resin-fragrant spruce and larch woodlands with fantastic hiking trails, meadows, lakes and ever so many leisure-time facilities; all within the immediate vicinity of our hotel.
