Then there is the Churburg in Schluderns with its mediaeval armoury or, on the other side of the nearby Swiss border, Müstair convent that numbers among UNESCO’s world culture heritage. In one to two hours with the new Vinschgau railway or your own car, you can reach more wonderful treasures and sights. For example, the spa town of Meran with its new large world of the Meran Thermal Baths, or the Botanic Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle, or on to Bozen to the South Tyrol Museum of Archaelology (Ötzi museum: the Iceman), or to the Messner Mountain Museum.
